1 Reminder: Prom 2017 is tonight, Friday, May 19, from 8 p.m. to midnight at Pottawattomie Country Club in Michigan City. As Mr. Smith says, “Be safe and make good decisions.” We wish all of our prom-goers a fun evening together!
2 Spring finals begin on Monday, May 22 and continue through Thursday, May 25, and attached is the final exam schedule. If your student has a morning final, he or she is required to attend morning meeting following their exam at 11:15 a.m., and they may leave following the meeting if they don’t have an afternoon exam. Otherwise, your student only needs to be at school for their scheduled final exams. Regular school dress is required during exam week, and students do not need to wear a blazer on Tuesday. We ask that all students arrive to their assigned classroom 15 minutes prior to exam time, so everyone is situated and ready for exams to begin promptly at their assigned time. Students, be sure to get lots of rest, eat well, and get some good studying in over the weekend.

This is a one-week summer program where your student’s (entering kindergarten through sixth grade) creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills are challenged and developed in fun and exciting ways. Camp Invention’s top priority is to inspire future innovators and build their confidence in the natural ability to dream and create. Cost is $225 per child and you can register online. Please contact Mr. Brett Balhoff with questions. Feel free to share this opportunity with anyone you think would be interested in participating.
8 La Lumiere is offering summer courses on campus again this year.
