Our boarding students come from as near as South Bend, Indiana and as far as Burundi.  Our international students contribute to an environment that fosters respect for cultural and ethnic diversity.

Boarders live in double-room, family-oriented dorms of 16-20 students.  The buildings are designed to be more like homes than dorms.  The days are filled with a rich balance of academics, activities, fun and rest. Day students come to La Lumiere from the many surrounding communities of Northwest Indiana and Southwestern Michigan.

The students share the same benefits of a boarding school experience – a supportive and inclusive community – both academically and in co-curricular activities.
