Advisory
Advisory Program
At La Lumiere, the advisory program shapes every part of the boarding school experience. Each student is paired with a faculty advisor who tracks academic progress, coordinates with teachers and families, and advocates for that student’s success. Advisors are the primary point of contact for parents and a trusted mentor for every advisee — personalized attention that reflects our commitment to the dignity and worth of each individual.
Advisor Meetings
Advisors meet with advisees twice weekly in small-group and one-on-one sessions: time to check in on academics, work through challenges, and step back from a demanding schedule. Additional meetings are always available.
Advisor Reports
Twice a year, advisors write detailed reports for families covering each student’s academic, co-curricular, social, emotional, spiritual, and residential life. These reports keep parents connected to their child’s growth and invite feedback whenever concerns arise.
