Prospective international students should submit a completed application to the La Lumiere Admissions Office
by mail, fax, scanned PDF, or through SSAT’s Standard Application Online (SAO).
The La Lumiere application has two main components; the personal information section and the student questionnaire. In addition to the application, transcripts from the three (3) previous school years and recommendations from a principal or advisor, a math teacher, and an English teacher are also required. SSAT’S STANDARD APPLICATION ONLINE (SAO)
The application fee for international students is $100. To make a secure online payment to the School simply click on the “International Payments” button below and follow the directions on the peerTransfer site.
La Lumiere School has partnered with peerTransfer in an effort to streamline international payments. peerTransfer allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency.
By making your payment with peerTransfer you can

- Contact the company’s multilingual customer support team with any questions, day or night
COPY OF PASSPORT
A copy of the student’s passport page(s), indicating name, date of birth and other vital information and a recent passport-sized photograph must be included with the application. Both the photo and passport information can be mailed, faxed or scanned/emailed to the La Lumiere Admissions Office.
Prospective students are required to participate in an interview with a member of the Admissions Team. Skype interviews will be arranged in the event a student is unable to visit campus in person.
Applicants will need to have their school send official transcripts to the Office of Admissions. NOTE: Academic records for non-native English speaking applicants must be accompanied by an official English translation and grading scale.
All international applicants must take one of the following exams in order to be eligible for admission
to La Lumiere School:
La Lumiere’s TOEFL code is 8437. La Lumiere’s SSAT code is 4465. For your convenience, the SSAT is administered at hundreds of sites around the world throughout the year. Scores from the SSAT must be sent to La Lumiere directly from the testing service. Please click below to learn more or register for an SSAT exam.
