Meg Stiphany
Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing

Meg brings to La Lumiere over eight years of higher education experience in both Admissions and Student Services. Prior to joining La Lumiere, Meg served as Senior Associate Director of Admissions for the Full-Time MBA program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  There, she was responsible for the recruitment and evaluation of MBA students as well as the planning and execution of all on-campus recruiting events.  She also ran the recruitment and program development for the Summer Business Scholars Program, which is a three-week intensive for aspiring MBA students.

Before her time at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, she was the Director of Student Services at The University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.  Her focus at Notre Dame was to manage the overall experience for over 500 graduate business students annually.

She was born and raised in Pentwater, Michigan, and earned a BA in English and Communication Arts from Aquinas College, and an MBA from Indiana University. 


Mary Pickens

Mary joined La Lumiere School as the Assistant Director of Admissions in May 2019. In her previous role, Mary served as the Associate Program Director for the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Teaching Fellows program at the University of Notre Dame. There, she managed the recruitment, selection, placement, and formation of Catholic School teachers in the Gulf Coast and Mid-Atlantic.

Prior to her time working at the University of Notre Dame, Mary began her career as a 5th grade teacher and ACE Teaching Fellow at St. Joseph School in Petersburg, Virginia. While at St. Joseph, she was also responsible for the school’s communication efforts, led the choir, and served as a member on the Catholic School Management Committee.

Mary grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and earned a B.A. in Communication from Michigan State University, and her M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame.
