About

La Lumiere would like to thank everyone who made a gift to our school on Giving Tuesday. We are blown away by the outcome, and we were reminded how special our community is. Together, we raised over $120,000, and received a total of 225 individual gifts.

A huge thank you to Isaiah Stewart '19 for his ongoing support and dedication to La Lumiere. Isaiah's commitment to matching $60,000 for Giving Tuesday is exceptional and shows the mutual impact between La Lu and alumni.

Your contributions go a long way in enhancing the student experience at La Lumiere, allowing us to provide the fullest Laker experience possible. It is heartening to see the community come together to make a positive impact for the lives of our students. Your generosity is truly remarkable, and we are thrilled to know how much La Lumiere means to you.

Giving Tuesday is back on November 28th! Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving founded in 2012. Over the past 11 years, Giving Tuesday has inspired hundreds of millions of people to give to their communities. La Lumiere is celebrating Giving Tuesday with a special challenge: every person who donates will receive a point for their Heads Cup team.

At midnight, the team with the most points will win a dress down day, along with Heads Cup points that correspond directly with their current standing.

This year, Isaiah Stewart ‘19 graciously offered a match for every gift received on Giving Tuesday, up to $60,000. All proceeds from this event will be used to support student life at La Lumiere.

Final Heads Cup Standings

Team Sullivan clinches the win with a total of 78 donations, followed by Moore with 74, Bunting with 50, and Webster with 23. Heads Cup points will be distributed to each team accordingly, and Sullivan will be awarded a dress down day!
