Final Call for La Lumiere Summer Offerings

There are still spots open in this summer’s course offerings at La Lumiere. La Lumiere plans to offer Government, Economics, and Geometry Honors courses, all of which will be offered in a remote learning environment. These courses will allow for students to learn from the engaging and accomplished teachers at La Lumiere School. The Government and Economics courses will be held from June 1 to June 19 with intensive study during those days (using both synchronous and asynchronous instruction), while the Geometry course will run from June 1 to August 7 with mostly asynchronous learning and individual student meetings. This year’s Summer Session will provide a flexible learning opportunity for our students aiming to expand their educational opportunities during the summer months. open

“The courses in our Summer Session this year offer students an opportunity for students to continue to make progress in their learning, and dive into important and relevant topics in a remote learning environment,” Andrew Hoyt said.

You can register for the courses at bit.ly/LALUSS2020 today. Please register your student by May 8th, at the latest, so that we can confirm numbers for our teachers and plan for the summer courses.

If you have any questions about the summer session offerings, don’t hesitate to reach out to Mr. Andrew Hoyt, the academic dean and assistant head of school, for clarification.
