La Lumiere Announces Plans for The Forum

During this year’s Alumni and Parents Weekend, La Lumiere paid tribute to Bryan and Judy Smith for their years of service to the school across generations of students. Their steadfast devotion has set the standard for commitment to the community—our mission owes a debt of gratitude to these two giants! In honor of these two, The Forum, a new outdoor venue located on the south end of our lake and alongside the Academic Building, will serve all of our students and faculty in a variety of ways: as an outdoor classroom, a location to gather during advisory, a place to relax during an in-between moment, and many more. After a successful paddle raise and live auction that raised over $230,000 on Friday night, La Lumiere plans to begin the construction phase of this project immediately with the goal of the project being completed in June 2022.
