Fall Drama: A one-of-a-kind production!

The 2020-2021 La Lu Players - La Lumiere's Theatre Ensemble - kicked off its schedule with a comedy-murder mystery, Act I of Ed Sala's "Bloody Murder". Yes, that's right - you read that correctly - a theatre season! After careful discussions and meticulous planning, we held three days of live, in-person performances - all within an extremely protected, socially-responsible environment: masks and appropriate physical distancing for cast, crew, and audience alike. Each performance ran approximately one hour - and each was absolutely amazing! The actors had the audience in stitches {purposefully so!} and the crew created a thoroughly believable English drawing room. At the end, the audience was left wanting MORE - "Can't wait for Act Two!" Presently, we are determining when Act II will be offered to the Community, so be on the lookout for dates and times - like with Act I, seating will be limited. And then upon the closing of Act Two's run, the Players will move right into rehearsals for its winter offering - stay tuned for that announcement as well!
