La Lumiere Hosts Convocation & Senior Candle Ceremony

La Lumiere reignited two traditions that highlight our students' successes and the strength of the La Lu community. On Wednesday, May 19, our Academic and Athletic Convocation was held to recognize students’ achievements. This event highlights individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond in their efforts both in and outside of the classroom during the academic year. On Thursday, May 20, our entire student body gathered together in the Amphitheater for our Senior Candle ceremony, where graduating seniors literally pass on their light to underclass students. During this event, seniors have the opportunity to share how an underclass student impacted their La Lu experience and offer advice to students. Every year these events are memorable and impactful for our community, but in light of the challenges faced during this academic year, we are grateful for our traditions to be returning and showcasing the resilience of our community!
