Our newest Lakers spent time on campus in the middle of June for their Freshmen Experience. This annual, week-long event highlighted the La Lumiere experience and jump-started the relationships that make our community so special. The freshmen class is ready to hit the ground running in August!

Joan Langley, Mr. Langley’s wife, is a former member of the prep school’s faculty and three of his children, John ‘74, Elaine ‘80, and David ‘88 are La Lumiere graduates. His paintings are on display for our visitors to take in when on campus for a tour, but also for our day and boarding students to view as they go about their day. Our prep school views this as a unique opportunity to highlight an artist, who has a personal connection to La Lumiere, inspired by the beautiful scenes so close to the campus.
